I run a small service-based business out of my home. I'm starting to get a lot bigger and busier and think it's probably pretty pathetic that I don't know how much I've made this year, or how much I have paid out to contractors, etc. (I am a bookkeeper's worst nightmare... hahaha). I'm familiar enough with QuickBooks to handle the upkeep, but to get everything set up (and set up right!)... I need help. In total, I have 143 items in Paypal I need to account for (from Jan. 1 to present). Everything I do is done through Paypal. Here are the things I want to be able to do:

- See how much is currently owed to me - an overall total, plus a total per client
- Track the Paypal fees correctly
- See how much I've made in total sales
- See how much I've paid contractors (there's only a couple) - as a whole, and individually

And that's about it. I'm looking for flat-rate quotes only - any hourly quotes will not be considered at this time. Please provide two quotes - one for simply setting up my QuickBooks files and adding a few items so I can follow your examples for the rest - and another to setup my QuickBooks files and get all my transactions in there and accounted for correctly. Although there are 143 items, a lot of these are one line item for the bill, and another line item for the payment.

Things are getting busy for me (and I despise bookkeeping), so if I find the right person this could easily turn into onhourly hourly assistance. Project can be completed from your home and the needed files emailed.

Advise on setting up books, what to keep together and what to separate (should we separate main business from other products?)
Ability to assist set up of physical inventory, and definitely inventory on the books procedures, checks and balances.
Being familiar with internet sales and understanding the feeds that download into QuickBooks would be very helpful.
